I have stayed there many years. We left stuff out every single night. Never had anything missing. Ultimately its your call though.
Hello, I'm going to be visiting the first weekend in May, with my soon to be father in law, and brother in law.
We are staying at Bluebank Resort and I'm bringing a boat down. I hope I don't regret it! I plan on just going slow and being careful.
My question is should I worry about fishing equipment like trolling motors and what not being left on the boat over night? I'm sure most of the folks at these resorts are folks from out of state like myself so it's hard telling what to expect.
Have locals heard of issues with peoples stuff missing from Boats? I'm trying to decide if I want to make my trolling motor removable so I can store it in room, or truck.

We have stayed at Cypress Point just down the road from Blue Bank several times. Always leave stuff in the boat and have never had anything stolen.
It's nothing fancy. Just a 18' aluminum boat. It's new to me though so I plan to be very careful on the water. I doubt I'll go faster than an idle! Even with that, I'm bringing spare props for trolling motor and outboard.
I hated asking the question about leaving stuff on the boat. I have never been out of state with a boat so I don't know what to ask, and what not to.
Have been last 2 years in a row. I take my boat which is a 1648 Grizzly. Never had any issues. Dock hands at BB are very helpful. Good food there too. This year we rented a house but last year stayed at BB. Good luck!

Good thing is the water is up right now so not as many stumps to deal with. Hope you have a great trip.
