Well done!
A crappie trip to the creek Sunday afternoon. We were curious just how muddy it still was and if anything was biting. The conditions aren't great but it seems to be clearing up some. A beautiful day and we almost had the creek to ourselves. We found most of our fish on the flats relating to bait fish more so than structure. We fan cast jigs in open water in the 6-10 foot range and drifted "minners" off and on.
We didn't fish "hard" as our creek trips are always relaxing and a nice getaway from the main lake. We caught about 15 crappie with 6 keepers. Water temperature was touching 58 degrees as we were leaving. The bite should only get better looking at the forecast this week.
Nice looking fish. That water still looks muddy, but the nice thing about the off colored water is that it will warm much faster. With the projected sunshine the next few days and your reported water temperatures of 58 today, those fish will be up doing their Sprang Thang soon!

'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
