Just Got Back From Reelfoot
What a colossal disappointment! Water was cold (46-49 degrees), murky and devoid of fish!
We spider-rigged with a guide for 2 days and caught 8 crappie, 7 keepers a drum and one cat.
Went out ourselves on day 3 and could not find the fish while searching Lower Blue Basin.
The few fish we did keep were pretty good size, 12-14 inches and one that came close to
15 inches. From everything we heard and info we got from locals and guides, it does not
appear that things are going to get better until the rain and cold fronts quit rollin' on through.
I'm still thinkin' about going back the last week of April or first week of May.

Abnormally high water doesn’t help either! I’m hoping the weather this week will help get things going in a better direction. I have 4 friends coming over Friday and Saturday, sure hope we can catch a few. Sounds like I better go back to MS Monday though.
