If so target lay downs on the steep banks in medium to shallow depths depending on water temps. On a side note the Red-ear (Shellcracker) should be starting to stage on the gravel points to start their Spring time business. Take some worms in addition to the normal clear water Crappie offerings. Good luck.

Not to hijack the thread, but is Norris a good crappie lake? I’ve never fished the lake, and never see crappie reports from it. Now the tail waters, love the trout fishing on the Clinch!
