Thread: Cranking on Ky Lake

Hello to all. Work has changed my schedule and spring trip is out. Thinking about Ky lake and crankbait trolling for crappie in June/July. We have stayed in Cypress Bay. Advice by anyone is appreciated regarding area, time to do it, etc. Thanks!

Only tried it once myself and didn't do so hot, but I'm a little far away to really learn it. I've seen a couple youtube videos from Jim Perry and one from Jenko lures on cranking Ky Lake. Also look for M R Dux on the Kentucky forum, I think he has quite a bit of general info about it.
