Default Little help. Where to get minnows at douglas

Hi guys. Heading down today with my boys for fall break. Staying in PF and going to head over to douglas to fish one day. Putting in at the dam and would like to know where to get minnows close by preferably on the way from PF to the dam. Thanks guys.

The few times that I have fished Douglas, I got mine at Bucks and Bass in Dandridge. Not sure if that’s on your way.

Bucks and Bass in Dandridge is the only place I know to get minnows, however there is a store on the Douglas Dam Road, about a mile from the launch . Not sure if they have bait. Also , there is a marina at the dam and a campground store at the actual ramp. If you have the time just run up to Dandridge, you will get a good count. They are closed on Sunday though I do believe. Good luck, I have heard reports of cooling water temperatures, finally.

The “Dam Store” on Douglas dam road has them but Buck n Bass in Dandridge has the best deal and size variety. Rimmers in Dandridge also has them but be ready to pay for them.
