Default Where are the crappie 9/07/18

With Dr Phil in the woods scouting for Bambi and others either shopping or working, the only thing for me to do today was launch by myself and scout/fish until the sun got hot.

I wanted to go look at the newly planted bamboo hotels that we have put out in the last ten days or so and I hit a mixed bag jackpot on one that is on a main river. Succoming to various lures, I landed a fiesty spotted bass, a 4-5 lb Blue catfish, and a 14” White crappie. I think this spot may really be good one day. Lolol.

I want to give a shout-out to Curtis Hobbs for the shirt and the 1/48 ish oz Litewirehooks in the number 6 size. Great hooks for the Itty Bitty Slab Slayers by Bobby Garland. If you want the sharpest hooks in a light wire, then Curtis can fix you up. Many thanks again for the hooks, Curtis. I have enough of these now to last a year or two. Grin.

Good catch, those hotels appear to have potential. Light wire hooks are a must when fishing deep brush and structure.

Guess I need to get you to come help me catch some of these. Pictures were taken Friday Morning at Lake Blackshear in Georgia...….I did catch a few of them. Hope the shirt brings you good luck.

Curtis, what depth finder is that. Good sharp pictures for sonar. Also what are the 3 donuts between the waypoints.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

Drumking, they can't say you don't put in the time and effort to keep them figured out. Good job.

Just so everyone will know.....the unit is 10 inch hummingbird mega unit. It’s has capability for screen shots saved to card. I never knew fishing could be so much fun. I debated long time on what unit to get but local tournament fishermen “Scott Williams” and others recommended this unit.
