Nice fish, looks like a great day.
About 2 months ago news broke that a potential world record crappie had been caught in Tenn and not far up the road. That afternoon I went with my son to a baseball game just miles from where it was caught. I was wearing my ETCC shirt and a gentleman ask me if I'd heard about the catch and I said yes and then I ask if he knew the young man. His answer was he's my cousin. I said Wow I'd like to talk to him and he pulled out his cell phone and next thing I was talking to Jam Ferguson. We talked about 10 minutes and I invited him to go fishing. It took a while but today we made it happen. His first trolling trip and the Crankbaits showed out. Pico granada green led the way with bandits in crawdad and mistake also produced. Good morning on the water with 17 keepers. This kid can fish. Thanks Jam for a day with crappie royalty.

Looks like a great day and not many folks in the world can say they've fished with a World Record crappie angler.
What a truly awesome experience for both of you all it appears!

That is just awesome. You got to fish with a legend. Gonna be hard to break that record, so he's a legend for sure. Hope you told him about Crappie.com. And I hope you suggested he join us here. Great pics, thanks for sharing.
Glad you all got to go fishing together, that’s really neat.

That’s a great trip with the Crappie World Record holder. Pulling cranks is a good way to cover water and you never know what the next bite will bring! Fun stuff.
