That depth finder shot is neat. You must be pushing for the cone to pick up the baits and weights. It's hard to put the single pole down when they are thumping the jig!
I was just guessing you was fishing douglas by your post. my whites vanished an all we caught the last day we fished was blacks think we had 1 white. no thermocline yet in the picture above the straight line is my weight an crankbait they are running 26 ft deep if you look u can see the fish come up an eat the bait they were about 30 ft deep.

Yea we push out the front with weights an pull out the sides an back with weights
Saw a boat doing that this morning while bluegill fishing. Had bent rods all around the boat. Looked like all they were catching was small squeaky catfish.
