Default Fishing report Chickamauga Lake 4-8-2018

Tyler and I meet up to fish this morning and guess who came with him! Christy got her fishing license and wanted to put it to good use.

The water was up about a foot since last week, however, the water temperature had dropped 10* down to 50*. I'm thinking with the warmer weather coming this week it will warm up fast.

Mostly fished banks and shorelines using small floats and 1/32 oz jigs. Monkey Milk with a tail light was the color of the day.

Life is good. Fishing is better.

Banks and shorelines!? Meaning a foot or so deep? Awesome!

My water dropped to 55* and I didn't catch a fish under 16ft deep!

Great pix Bobby. Nothing like a tailgate shot. Got some shoulders on them too.

Wow! Ya'll did great! The fish we found last week along the banks had left the country by yesterday. The water temp had dropped 4-5 degrees and our better fish came from 12-20' deep, tight on structure. These warmer temps should bring them up quickly.

“Monkey Milk with a tail light”. Shhhh, don’t tell all the secrets! A great color combination for Crappie year round.
