    Default Tennessee Crappie Camp?

Can someone explain why Tennessee, or anyone in Tennessee hasn't/doesn't put together one of these for the state or areas in Tennessee? I for one would like a weekend of campin' crappin' and cookin'...
'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6

I did it for 5 years (2000-2005) ... Spring Fling (Apr) and Fall Brawl (Oct) ... on Watts Bar. Held it at Eden Marina. I don't think any pictures or reports remain, though, due to site updates/changes & the Photobucket fiasco.

Now I'm running the Spring Fling a little closer to home .... Green River Lake. (South Central Ky) And, in fact, we're having one at the end of the month ... & ya'll are more than welcome to come and join us (details on KY Forum)

Thank you for the invite CP. I checked my calendar and of course it's on a weekend I'm scheduled to work.

I just think it would be a good thing to gather together to meet and fish with people you may or may not know. Sit around a fire swap fishing stories and or pointers for those of us, mainly me that have a lot to learn. Oh yea eat some crappie, lots of crappie.

We had -our Alabama spring camp last weekend and it was a great time for all involved. It is well worth the effort. Met up with old friends and made some new ones. We had great food and fellowship. I believe you guys would enjoy it
