    Default On the Chick


    Good afternoon doing the planner board thing. Started out with 4 lines. Things were slow so I decided to add 2 more. 15 minutes goes by and I'm about to add 2 more and pick up the first fish. After breaking the ice it was more work than play for the next 3 hrs. 70 short fish mostly males and 14 quality keepers over 11 inches with one 14 1/2 Tarp black female. Released her to do her thing. 1/16 minnow head jigs dressed with bubblegum/ chartruse, junebug, blue ice and black,blue chart. were the ticket today. Water temp was 56.9.

    Alright ! I've been waiting for a good crappie report on the "Chick". Fishing ( catching ) should finally be more consistent now. Thanks for the report.

    Thanks TC, excellent report. I have to get set up to pull boards soon that sounds like a fun way to catch'em. Now all I need is one of those remote thingies to control my new TM that I don't have either! Now if I could just get that dog to quit eating, and get a job...
