    Default Reelfoot campground recommendations

We are planning our 2nd trip to Reelfoot April 18-22. We stayed at Blue Bank for our inaugural trip last year and it was great. This year we want to try something different. I’ve been researching cabins, cottages, and condos at several resorts, but we may just bring the camper and really “rough” it instead. It would definitely be cheaper to camp.

I’d like to hear any recommendations or advice on RV camping locations. We prefer to fish the north parts of the lake or out of Kirby and would love to camp closer to where we will fish this year. I know many of the resorts have RV camping, but I’d like to hear from those of you who camp at these places.

I’m particularly interested in the Airpark campground. Does it have fish-cleaning and other important amenities? Anyone camp there before?

    Thanks!
no matter what I'm doing, I've got hunting or fishing on my mind...

The campground at the AirPark is a State of Tennessee facility. The sites will have electric and water, not sure about fish cleaning, or ramps. Best bet is to search for Reelfoot State Park, and then call. The state has (2) campgrounds, the one on the south end has most of the fishing traffic, and fills up fast in March / April.

The south campground is nicer than the one at the airpark. It's my favorite place to camp.
