I have been seeing some good catches on line recently around Cuba landing...I have only fished for them in the spring. .. where do they hang out this time of year ? Every place I fish for them in the spring is high and dry now

I don't fish for them so I'm not knowledgeable about where to find them this time of year. Most folks I know that fish for them are usually very tight lipped about their spots and techniques.

Around here they hold up on deeper brush and rocky points and deep grass

Where have you seen good catches online? I've been wanting to tap into the fall redear fishing over here on Barkley, just haven't taken the time. I have talked to a couple of people who claim to have caught monsters in the fall.

Yes, creek or branch mouths in 6 to 10 feet of water with a pinch of nightcrawler is best.
