    Question Watts Bar Fishing Reports

Not only are the members here tight-lipped about fishing at Watts Bar, but the TWRA fishing report for Region III doesn't even show Watts Bar in its lake reports .... what's up with that ???

I think it was on there last week Pappy. Maybe who ever reports it in is on vacation or something.

TC ... seems every time I look it up there isn't any report for Watts Bar. Maybe I just missed that report.

In any case, since I've been going down to WB over the last 30 some years, I've yet to be checked by a CO ... and, in fact, have only seen the boat out on the lake maybe twice ... so I don't know who it is that they get their report info from !!

I haven’t seen it on the reports either. At least Region III still gets reports. I mostly fish Region IV (I’m in Knoxville), and all I can find is a statement that the Region IV clerks aren’t writing fishing reports anymore. Glad our money is going to good use...

Actually just saw your other response, Pappy, pointing out the new report location. Guess I’ll give HuntBuddy a try and see what it’s got. Either way, a bit frustrating that we can’t even get fishing reports from them.

I looked at several links, only Region III seems to have a report. Even got a security alert (malware) on one Huntfishbuddy link that I came upon. Could just be McAfee overreacting, but I wouldn't pursue it unless you have good antivirus security.

Quick report for everyone ... shot docks on Friday morning (in the fog) and had a pretty good day. 11 nice fish with 3 over 14 inches. They were on deep docks and seemed to like them some jiffy jigs. Water was 78 degrees down from 81 two ago.

Quick report: went today caught mine 18-20ft up river on brushpiles tight tight tight. Jig for them. Brushpiles in creek channels right off main channel. I tipped mine with minnow caught some and also just with a Bobby garland.
