It is just amazing how long a bamboo thread last in Tennessee
As a side note those guys that use bamboo scaffolding usually wear wicker hard hats. I traded for one when OSHA came and made the Chinese workers use plastic hard hats while at dock. Osha didn't say anything about the bamboo scaffolding. Strange. Makes way better crappie structure if you ask me

They are now run down and in disrepair. Gangs of bass and catfish selling drugs and causing trouble.

Alas, I have made and dropped so many bamboo hotels in the lake, that I have a hard time remembering where I put them all. Some pay off very well as they have overnight guests check in and then suddenly disappear when I show up to collect. They are suckers for Bobby Garland slab slay’Rs. I put them in places that attract seasonal visitors. I put out a couple a few years ago and didn’t catch a fish for 4 years on them and suddenly the fish showed up last year and I have had a ball snatching the fish out of their rooms.

I just watched an episode of Petticoat Junction, these look like 4 great Shady Rest hotels....
