What an amazing event we had on the Chick Saturday. We had 11 teams enter the tournament and all 11 teams brought a 7 fish limit to the scales! The weather was beautiful and could not have been any better. Congratulations to our top teams. Also thank you to Tim, Chris and the ladies for all the delicious food to top off the day! Great food, beautiful weather, wonderful fellowship, and good fishing sums up the chick tourney. We caught about 30 fish for the day. Only a couple of short fish. We fished a mid lake creek channel edge pulling blue and chartruse southern pro hot grubs with a willow leaf blade. The edge of the break had lots of stumps on it in about 12-13' of water. Almost every fish we weighed in came off of the stumpy creek channel edge. Tracy's rods caught all the keepers, I mostly operated the net. I'd say if her and Garrett fished together, it would be over for the rest of us. Already looking forward to the next gathering.

i have to agree with cranks4crappie, great time and fellowship, if anyone was wondering, come on out to one day and check it out, a great bunch of fishermen -and women-lol and freely willing to share stories and information, darren, we will ban tracy and garrett from fishing together because they would be tough to beat for sure
