Tellico 4/11-12
Fished Tellico two days. Saturday four of us went and we caught 41 keepers, Sunday two of went and caught 15 keepers. Where we found crappie on Saturday were not there on Sunday so we had to hunt them and found they had moved into shallower water. Water temp both days was around 63 so spawning should be getting close. We had a lot of shorts both days so that is still a problem n Tellico. I would give you a color but it changed all the time but pink and white seemed to be a little more favored. Just as a side note, if when you launch your boat, and others are trying to launch or load, do all the prep work in the parking lot and not on the ramp. Both days there were a lot of inconsiderate people that think the world revolves around them. I suspect this request is a needless request for most of you, but to someone new-- hopefully it will cause them to consider something they have not thought about.

Congrats on a good weekend of fishing. Crowds at the ramps are just a part of spawn season, but inconsiderate people are at ALL the boat ramps.

Good report. Lots of yahoo's at the ramp with the first good weather of spring. Lots of first timers and seeing if there boats will run. It will be a mess for awhile.
