    Default Reelfoot preservation license new to me???


    Went to get my license on line and said something about preservation license required....????? use to buy a sportsman license but did this take it place!!!!! paying enough as it is didn't know if it a yearly thing or what thank you???

    Sportsman covers the permit. Maybe even old folks license but I don't know. Otherwise you have to get the permit. Year is $30 I think, and it's different than the TWRA lake permit.

    I haven't fished Reelfoot in about 10 years and I remember having to have one back then. I think back then it was $11.00 but I could be mistaken.
    It's probably been required for a long time and you just didn't realize you needed it. If you got by without it this long you're lucky, I'd have been checked by the warden the first time out.

    I sure would like to know what they use that money for?? I have asked and yet to get a straight answer. I have also asked for them to have a meeting with fisherman for Reelfoot Lake and have yet to see anything on that. I know they had a meeting on Ky lake but nothing on one for reelfoot.

    Ur not missing nothing,the one they had at my lake was just the single polers against the spiderriggers.People wanted a pole limit,and I'm sure most of them are your seasonal fisherman.If u put in the time building and scanning u can catch fish year round.
