Just figured out how to post a picture I think.
Kept 9 fish today with one TARP. I usually only keep 4 which is perfect for my wife and I, but we have family in. They were in pretty much the same places as Thursday, but a little deeper this time. Fishing brush in 48-53 FOW and most of them hit only a few feet off bottom. They were hissing and bubbling from coming up so far. Water temp was 47 and I was tightlining minnows.
If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.

Nice mess of fish. Congrats.
GO BIG ORANGE !
I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
Nice mess of fish. I can honestly say that I've never caught a crappie that deep. I enjoy reading how everyone else fishes for crappie around our region.
I know, it's interesting to me, too. It's funny how different they can be from one lake to the other. I tried all different tactics after reading posts on here, and wasn't catching a thing. I just tried to go as simple as possible and figured I'd try colder water=fish deep and so far it has been working.

Nice job... Man were they deep!!
Congrats on the TARP.
Life is good. Fishing is better.
Like fishorhunt I have never caught a fish that deep. Of course I have not fished that deep before. May have to try it. Thanks for the report.
That is deep for sure. Just goes to show you that they are there. I personally like to go shallow in the wintertime but then again I strike out a lot too.
