    Default Douglas

Anyone fishing Douglas? Just wondering if lake was close to normal again after all the rain and snow. Getting the itch bad to be on the water.

I haven't been since the flood. The last fish caught that I've heard about was about 2 weeks ago around Rimmer Creek, but the water has come back up since then. Probably won't be right again this spring.

Tuesday the water was muddier than the week before water surface temp 46 to 48 and it slow the catching down from what it was. Don't know what method you fish I have been catching 5' to 8' over 25' to 40' at mouth of creeks and main body channel. Pushing or pulling jigs tipped with minnows works or float and fly will work to. Tight lining was catching before the flood but I had no takers Tuesday tight lining because the water is too muddy right now. Find the fish they are hungry. Be careful debri and logs are still out there.
