I caught a 14 inch Trout on Kentucky Lake Friday. I have witnesses and showed it to a Game Warden who scratched his head. All of this and I did not take a pic.bangheadbanghead 25 ft of water on a Bandit crank bait.

I would think that at certain depths in Kentucky lake it might actually be cold enough to keep them alive this time of year if someone happened to toss some in.

Some of the tributaries are stocked this time of year with trout. Also their is a trout farm in Bucksnort. Easily could have flushed downstream.

Hurricane creek has been stocked annually for many years now. It dumps into TN river around Danville. I understand folks wade in the mouth of HC and throw spinners trying to catch them...I did investigate this from the river one summer but WAY too shallow.

I doesn't seem inconceivable that one (or more) could survive between Danville and Paris Landing especially rainbows as I understand they can tolerate warmer and 'murkier' water.
