Went back yeaterday (Tuesday). Big fish were pretty scarce. Several caught their limit real EARLY, but by the time we got there, it was slim pickins. Only ended up with 5 keepers. Water was lower and very muddy.
May try Muddy Creek or Indian Creek in a couple days. Anyone fished these areas in the last few days?

Hey guys I usually bass fish but I have seen all the boats above Swann's and thought that I might give crappie fishing a try. How deep is the water above Swann's....I hate dinging up my bass boat???

it has come up a couple feet. It is about 7-8 feet in the creek bed. If you do not know the area, go slow, theres a lot of shallow areas. Your best bet is to follow another boat up. If not, after leaving Swanns, go straight across the river to the last bridge tower, its 10-15 feet there, and follow the rock bluff up. The shallows are on the right side until you get past Nina Holler. Then the shallows run in the middle, so go up the right side from there.
We fished yesterday with very little action, and today the wind was so bad we couldnt hold the boat. Goin tomorrow and try it again.
