    Default Russell 5-24-23

Been a while since I fished Russell but decided to go try to catch a few there. Had a good day catching em spider rigging then longlining. I have been fishing Russell for a long time and of all those years have never caught but one white crappie but on this day I caught over 20 whites! I for one am excited to see them in Russell as the lake is very fertile and has the potential to put out some hoggs! Total catch I lost count but somewhere between 40-50 with a SC limit brought home.

Excellent catch Ronnie. I havent been and havent heard anything about Russell practically the whole year. Nice seeing so many whites too.

Sounds like a great trip. I also like the cooler shot. If you keep this up, I'm going to be jealous of you too!
