    Default OldMan Step

I’ve been noticing lately that my legs are really tired at the end of the day. Old Age is getting me. I’ve had a buddy fishing with me the last 2 weeks that has a bad knee and about to have surgery. Had a BrainStorm to build us a step to assist getting on the casting deck. Tested it Thursday and WOW what a difference. Easier getting up and down. I built it from scraps so the cost was Zero!! Name: IMG_2589.jpg

Something like that helps the ones like me with an arthritic back too. Now I gotta look thru my scrap pile. Thanks for sharing.

Tell your buddy that needs knee replacement to get robotic surgery, I've now had both in the last May, normal on tbe 1st one and robotic on the 2nd in Jan. Both now feel about the same. Recovery is faster with robotic

I used an old exercise stepper for my brother in laws G3 and it was nice to have on his boat with my bad knees.

Have y’all thought about getting sea dek type material in your floors? That’s a knee/back saver for sure. I’ve seen some work recently from Jody’s bait shop and it’s super sharp!

I am fortunate to have a step down/cooler combo on my Ranger as my knees are bout due for a rebuild also. I even put the steps on my trailer tongue to help me get in and out the front of the boat and not trip over all the electronics. Best money that I’ve spent in awhile!
