Any help is appreciated. I have been able to find a few schools but then I struggle to get them to bite and keep the boat positioned on them.

I broke down and bought me a livescope this past week. I had it out this afternoon for first time and it works great! I found a few schools and some single fish but couldn’t get them to bite either. Seeing ain’t catching!

Cool, you’ll love it. Watch how the fish react to your jig, if they don’t react try something different. I have 4 retrieves I try. One will usually get a reaction. Seeing your jig and the fish without moving the transducer means you have the bait close to the fish. Casting accuracy is critical. They won’t move but a few feet to get the bait, but if they react they will follow a long ways.
