    Default Wylie Water Supply Report

Was out and about today, went to Lincolnton and crossed the South Fork which feeds Wylie. It was Tomato Soup and after 24 hours it was almost out of its banks. Ended up on I-85 and crossed upper end of Wylie and the Catawba was pretty muddy. Look out Lower End, you got mud coming.

I think with all the rain we've gotten lately its gonna be muddy EVERYWHERE! I think the trick will be finding stained water with a visibility of @ 5"-6" and then the crappie can find your hooks.

I may do the same thing around the Hill tomorrow to check some places out. I'll probably have to go atleast mid lake to get out of some of that mud!

Thats good. Folks hate mud, but after a day or so, on sunny days, those big girls will sit up high in the water column and eat.

Saw some really nice fish I tried to catch. They wouldn’t move even if you bumped em.
