    Default 1/21/23 Russell

Went Saturday to RR on Russell to target yellow perch. The bite was extremely light and rare. I ended up with 5 yellow perch and 4 spotted bass. Just as I thought I had something figured out I get humbled. Anyway had fun and froze my tail off.

A fella told me many years ago. That is why they call it fishing and not catching. I do lots of fishing

Russell has a way of doing that to fisherman! Fish in the boat keeps the day interesting.

That’s the truth, I’ve always loved Russell due to the lower number of boats on the water. That sure has seems to changed the last couple years. Still better than Hartwell though.
