Hit the lake around 9:00 Sunday morning and it didn’t take long to get 2023 heading in the right direction. Overall a slow day on Santee, but a good mess of quality fish bit in the cold, muddy waters.

2023 is going to be a good year for everyone! You look like you got a good start. Hope to see more from you this year it seemed my jealousy eased off from not seeing all those coolers full of fish! Gabowman has filled in for those days you weren't posting. Glad to see any fishing report and glad you had one for me today! Thanks

This trip with my grandson took place on 12/27/22. It was a frigid Tuesday morning but we managed to push minnow tipped jigs in 20-25 feet of water and boated a nice mess of bass and crappie.
