The bite should be good with the temp changing to cooler side. I would have thought with the rain it would be dingy. Good luck!
Launched at S. Point, water had a light stain. Thinking it would be worse south of the S. Fork! Wrong, mouth of the S. Fork didn’t look any different than the Catawba. Water temperature 68 degrees. Didn’t see much difference in water color till about Beaverdam. Later in the day I saw 71 degrees.

Clark Hill has been turning over. Not sure if it's finished or not. Will have to go back to find out. People have been reporting catches in 9'-12' of water but I visited many of my fishing spots over two trips to the lake and it was non-fishable. I'm not sure how long it takes to settle back down after it turns over. In another week or so I'll go back and see what's going on.
