It’s too bad y’all can’t come now, it’s as good as I’ve seen in years.

Were y’all out there this morning in that dark blue boat pulling boards? We tore them up too.

The numbers of feeding fish are phenomenal. We caught over 40 on Saturday morning and 30+ this morning .
All were gently handled and returned to wrestle with another day.

We ended up with 32 this morning as well, also all released. I think it was your boat that pulled in behind us this morning. Man they were on fire early. But they slowed dramatically after the first 40 minutes or so. It took me a little time to get back on them once they pulled off that little shallower spot. But we finally just got in a deeper hole full of herring on the bottom and let them come to us.

Stripers are fun to catch when they cooperate. Wish you'll were closer to us it's just too much of a drive and come home the same day. If I were 30 something I'd be there this morning. Keep posting I like to hear of good fishing trips.

Yeah it looks good, we got one boat running and now working on other one, painting it is all and then we can fish again.
    Good luck.

Deer season is less than a week away or I'd be fishing. Cooler nites are right around the corner and the rains too?!? The lake water has GOT to start cooling down soon. Stay on 'em Chris. Love reading your reports.

This morning was considerably slower. We ended up with 18 “eating size” stripers but again, put em all back. Still a great day, just not the on fire of the previous days.
