    Default 6/29 Wylie

Thought I’d get in a trip before the week of the FOURTH !! Will probably be a lot on the water next week. Put in at S. Point and wow, water surface was covered in dead Mayflys. Hit a couple piles close to the landing and caught a few 8 inch fish. Surprised I caught any!! Fished down to Mills and had 20 but only had a couple 10 inch fish. Did better in the mid lake area. I was thinking the deep brush would be best but the shallow brush was best. Some was 10-12 feet. Water temp was same as Monday 82-84 degrees. Final tally was 52. All released!! Caught a few Spotted Bass and the Perch were terrible in a few spots. They just bite the tail off the B. Garlands. Also check out the sign for S. Point Landing. Gonna be closed a few days. The other photo is the Mayflies Name: IMG_1404.jpg
