    We fished Big A & little A for about 3 hours this morning. Lots of fish busting top water(looked like perch). Using minnows & spoons, we caught about 80 perch, 4 bass & 2 cats. Perch were feeding on small shad. Depth finder showed fish from the surface to down about 25'. Only 9 perch were bigger than 6". Can't seem to find the big ones anymore. Often, we caught perch by just dropping spoons down about 6'.

    I'm ready to start trolling for cats again! Just need some rain & cooler weather.

    Thanks, Mr. Charles, for the report. Not able to go this week but like reading fishing reports. I got Henry my grandson today and tomorrow so we going to work on my old Alumacraft boat and get it running hopefully.

    I'm ready for cooler weather too! Charles.....the cat fishing is tuff right now, they are spawning...but I been finding perch every where! but no size to them?????????

    Me and the brother trolled crankbaits in Little Allison today for Crappie from 6:00 am to 10:30 am,we picked up 12 Crappie,including one 2.6 lbs..we also caught 5 Cats and about 15 Perch,all Perch were jumbos,biggest Perch we have ever caught on Wylie for sure,they were schooled up in the S turn after the powerlines,evertime we made a troll and came back through them we picked up 4 or 5 each pass..could have loaded up if we would have stop and dropped Sabikis down

    You'll did good for Saturday morning. Must not been to many folks out. We are going tonight and see if we can find something that resembles that big slab.
