    Default Lake Wylie 05/05/22

Made a night trip with my cousin Steve and his son Michael and man was it good one. We set up in 21 foot of water in the very back of the cove. Had fish biting immediately and it wasn't even dark yet. Got thing set up and ready to turn lights on at dusk and I was thinking maybe we'll be home around 11 pm. Not going to happen that way. The crappie were hungry and ready for the minnows we had. Michael was again the top fisherman he was into them heavy or should I say they had him pegged on his end of the boat. A picture from the Mega Live will verify his end was loaded. Our only problem was every fish being caught was less than 8 inches with one every once in a while would be a keeper. We managed to get 47 keepers and threw every bit of that many back. We tried to keep to a ten inch size. We had a few that were close because someone can't remember what 8 inches looks like. Here's a few pictures I took. BTW I caught the smallest!

The parking lot was not busy only a few trucks and trailers. Three golf carts blocking the first ramp from ready line. Should have parked in the grass out of the way to watch sun setting. But you know how stupid does.
