Only bass fished it, small lake about 75 feet at the dam.
We spent a lot of time playing in the water and letting the dogs swim

I crappie fished it alot when I still lived up there. Jigs worked best around the piers and docks
Never had good luck trolling there, but I was and am still trying to figure trolling out.
Minnows around the 16 bridges did pretty good.
Give it a shot. Can't be as bad as having to work 42 days straight.
Got to come home for 4 days, and then go back possibly for another 21 days. I think I've been home like 19 days this year so far.
The wife and I did go to St. Augustine Beach Sunday. I sure fished for a bit but didn't catch anything. Didn't see anyone catch anything so I don't feel to bad.
Enjoyed the day with the wife.

Also, in the spirit of your asking....what about Stumpy Pond? Fishing Creek? I've only fished Fishing Creek but if it werent for the drive back through Charlotte in the evenings, I'd go more.
