Fished from 10:00 to 5:00 fishing shallow cover on the banks. Caught 9 crappie,7 keepers and 1 bass. Fishing the usual 2.5 feet deep in 4-5 feet of water with minnows under a float.
I would have expected to have a little more action by now based upon past results in past years. it was 32 degrees this morning and the creeks are very stained. That may have slowed the shallow bite. We will see.
