So ddid not make the drive to russell like i planned. Stayed on hartwell water was 60.5 deg tried to lonline a bit with minnows but wind got bit much at times . Switched to just down lines and couple beklelys out the back. No crappie bout dozen bass all in thr 2-3 pound range.
Big learning curve to using the pontoon over the 17ft sea nymph for sure.. Fished from like 8 am till noon then ran the toon some to get a feel for it that mercury vessel view moble is sure nice. Just not have to figure out why max rpm showing 5k instead of 6k as stated on the motor plate..Will get out during the week and see if i cant get hartwell dialed in like i did russell..
Sounds like youre getting all those bugs worked out. And you boated some bass too. I like a filleted bass every once in awhile.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
Congratulations on the bass!

Have you tried a 3 lb hybrid with that setup? You will need some spare time to try to land it, particularly if you have other lines out. I caught a 6 lb hybrid one time with an ultra lite setup and fortunately I had a friend on the boat that quit fishing and just operated the trolling motor to keep me out of trouble. Took about an hour to land it. Had the drag set lite and would get it near the boat and it would scream off all of what I had wound up.
On your outboard RPM's, is the prop the same one for that rated RPM?
Congrats on fish boated. Good number on that engine
