    I saw it before it was filled up, 1973 I think, my mom took me over there right before they started filling the lake, as well as I can remember there was no trees left. what remember it was all cleared.

    Thanks for the help. Next time maybe we can slow down and see it with down image a little bit better. Truly is a nice lake.

    Interesting about the pay to play part. Years ago, when i have bass fished at Moss, it was free of charge. As far as i know anyway. Never saw any signs indicating to pay to fish. Probably been close to 15 years since i have fished there.

    Hahaha, you got lucky, use to be you had to pay to launch and buy a Moss Lake Fishing permit along with having a NC license. They watched like a hawk.
