    Add 5% antimony to your lead to make it a little harder and it stays shiny.

    TB, your jig heads look good. You ever take a black and red marker and put eyes on those jig heads? Might make a difference. Hope you find some tinted water somewhere.

    I've been using unpainted head that I've poured for the past 20 years, unpainted hasn't seem to have hurt my catching my fish.

    Ok update time, got my Mustad hooks and cast a few. Zoomed in to check the Eye Gap. These look great. Just need an on the water test. No paint going on these.
