Default Bet It All Changes Now!

With several days of rain and the lakes rising from flooding water with mud and debris going into the lakes AND now the cold temps coming back I bet it will shut 'em down for awhile. Maybe the ones with live scope can find biting fish but for me I'll sit it out some and give it time for things to settle down again. And I sorta hate it too cause the bite seemed to be heating up more and more each week. Well, as always, they get knocked back every time the bite heats up this time of the year. Probably a good thing too because alot of fish were being caught during December from what I have seen and read.

Stay after 'em and keep posting. it will be good again before you know it and I will be right back into the chase again.

It's your time to shine. Get out there after the first breeze blows and sorts some of the trash and whack them. You long line right? You'll have some color to help "hide" you.

It wont take long for the trash to dissipate with wind blowing and the dams pulling some water. As long as the cold temps doesnt shut 'em down the longline bite might continue. I will know in a few days. I got app't for Covid booster in the morning but Wednesday might be looking pretty good. God! I'm LOVING this retirement.

Wylie water level was up a couple feet. Water color was about what I like. Light stain, when they start pulling water I’m betting the creeks are gonna get muddy. I was surprised that there wasn’t much floating wood since the water came up so much.

My buddy went today and fished the pattern I been on for a couple weeks. They pulled the lake overnight and got the areas muddy. He got 2 bites and missed them. Looks like I’m gonna have to get in the Search Mode for tomorrow or switch lakes and try Norman. Hadn’t been there in several weeks so I’ll have to search there also. Decision Decisions.

I was going tomorrow but think I'll wait until next Monday (looks like fair weather both of those days). Maybe by then I'll get to fish where I had been fishing. If not I'll be looking for 'em too.
