    Default Wateree 11-24-21

Cold & foggy yesterday on wateree. Put in at Colonels creek. Water was 58 & air was 28 when we started. Fog did not clear till about 9. Tried several spots out from the landing but we found more bait & stripers when we got down below clearwater, out on the channel edges.

Had live shad & shinners for bait. Ended up with 13 stripers. Only 1 of A rigs. All were released to fight another day.

Sounds like a good day, it was foggy on Wylie yesterday. Water temperature was 56 degrees. Had to idle to the first spot. Had duck hunters out so had to avoid a few spots till about 10:00. Caught a few nice fish. Name: IMG_0345.jpg

That’s funny. We did the opposite of you. Started around Clearwater and didn’t do much but ended up around Colonel. They schooled really good the last two hours. Fish were picky for us, only wanted smaller baits. I like a 1oz spoon but my dad smoked me using a 1/2 oz.
