Thread: Allen creek boat ramp?

I have friends that use it regularly without any issues, we have had issues at Sanders Ferry with break-ins and have quit using that ramp.

the bigest crappie i ever caught was under the bridge at allen creek
we fished it all winter for three years and allways caught more the a limet

If day timing I wouldnt worry so much. If night timing then that's a horse of a different color. I used to always use the park when night fishing. I felt safer that the rogues wouldnt pay to get at your vehicles. I'm not familiar with the ramp and any activity going on there in Allen creek.

YOURE RIGHT WE PUT IN AT THE PARK TO I FORGOT ABOUT THAT
COLD WATER CREEK BRIDGE

If you put in at the park don't forget to try the Van creek bridge.

Thanks for the replies. I've never fished Russell, but I've been told that Allen creek is a great crappie area. Me and my Dad are gonna try it out Friday morning. I'll hopefully post some pics of what we catch.
