Default We値l leave the light on

I spent about an hour tonight fishing under the dock light. Caught 12 crappie and 1 perch. I believe the cooler weather has brought bigger ones in. Only 2 babies in the bunch.

Beautiful picture! I use to have a lady that kept her light on at night on the side of her boat house and it was truly a magnet for all species of fish I would set back off in a distance and cast under the light and reel real slow with a split shot and a minnow and nail the crap out of crappies. Now she's long gone and no light from new owners. They get pissed because of our lights that even submerged they say bother them. i think it's the fact someone is out there and I can't stand it factor takes over!
Chris, you got it made if you can keep them in there.

Those docks with the lights on sure produce the fish.

Maybe the whitewater coming down Anthony Shoals about 1/2 mile above the house provides some aeration and that allows some fish to remain in the river during the summer? I've been catching them under the dock light all summer, they've just been mostly babies until this week.

Did you finish dock? Are you catching any striper or just fishing for crappie? Plan on coming down after Christmas for a few days. Finishing up painting inside of boat. Wishing you luck this week.

Yes sir, finished the dock in the spring. Now have a neighbor painting it with sealer. (Making a mess)
I haven稚 been been in the boat for 3 weeks but the stripers were on fire at that point. (3 days of 50+ fish).
I致e got a family coming this weekend so I値l have them out Saturday and Sunday mornings. I値l give a report and let y誕ll know if they池e still biting.

We didn稚 go Saturday but did this morning. The stripers have definitely moved. We finally found a few and ended up with 6 for the morning.
