Default High Rock road trip set for the 4th of Sept

Looks like the date is going to be the 4th of Sept. We can meet up at the QT on Hwy 161 near the airport and corner of Ebenezer between 4:30 and 5 pm to go up as a group or you can make your own way and meet at the Bringle Ferry Road boat access parking lot at 7 pm to meet everyone that's fishing. This is bragging rights only get together. Hope everyone is ready and excited as I am. Please make sure your batteries are charged and you got your anchors tied on! Any questions you can contact Mac Crappie or myself. Looking for a good crowd to fish and have some fun.

For those planning on going just remember this is a road trip. Bout an hour and twenty or thirty minute ride. All four lane roads. So please check your trailer good. Lights need to work. Tires need to be good shape and aired up correctly. Check and double check those wheel bearings. Make sure they roll free and grease well. Don’t want to scare anybody from coming out but please make sure your equipment is road ready. As Dawgg said check your battery. Depends on the type of light you use how much draw on the battery. Always best to have a good backup on board. If you need any help getting ready give a shout. Be glad to get you in the convoy!

Nothing special for me just regular trailer lights. Some people blind you at the ramp with the lights both head lights and tail lights.

The LED boat tail light kit I bought for the Skiff I used to have had the backup lights built in. What really gets you is when youre trying to back down a ramp where the truck beside you leaves his headlights on when he's backed down the ramp beside you. Hard to see ANYTHING when those lights are blinding you.
