Default Lake Murray Report (April - Present)

It's been a few months since I've posted a report, but I've been fishing a few times. There has been A LOT going on recently so my trips have been few and far between, but I've found the fishing to be getting better and better. The last two weekends have resulted in limits with some decent fish caught. I trolled until the end of April and caught fish every trip. As the trolling bite slowed, I've swapped over to fishing structure. Bridges, brush, and docks have all been good. Fish have been caught on both jigs and minnows. My most recent trip was on Monday of this week. I started out catching a few bass on points and then swapped over to casting for a limit of crappie. This is one of my favorite times of year to fish and it's just getting started!!! Water temps were 71-72 on Monday and fish were caught in 20ish foot of water. Here's a few pics from the last 3-4 trips.

    Tight Lines!
