Well it rained on our SpringFest in 2019. In 2020 covid stopped it And in 2021 it rained again. But we pulled it off once again. Had 9 brave crews that came out in the elements today. Wasnt bad at all first couple hours. Then a light sprinkle. Then it set in to a steady shower. Nothing bad. Wind stayed down pretty well all morning. At splash it was decided to come in an hour early to beat the heavy weather. Plan worked perfect. The heavy rain started bout 12:30. But every boat caught fish today. Some real nice ones came to the scales. Sad thing is I cant tell you numbers. Our score sheet got left out in the rain and now cant see numbers. But if I am wrong you guys correct me. Treed took first for heavy 7. PChop and Team Green tied for 2nd. After that its a blur. Had several young guns out today. They made it known they didnt come to play. They did very well. Our lunch was provided by some super guys from where I used to be employed. It was great ! Or everyone was hungry. Think there was only 3 hotdogs left. And they were told be ready for 40-50. Somebody was hungry. They did a super job on it. To everyone that donated time and or money or prizes ,Thanks to you. And those that helped sign in , weigh in, or just lend a hand , Thanks. Thanks guys. But again Thanks to those that braved the weather to make it happen. Hope to see all of you on the water again soon. Think some folks got pictures for ya. I dont have but a couple. Thanks and see ya next time.Name: IMG_1129.jpg

It was a good time. Plentiful fish. Size was lacking for good fish for the most part. 5lb 15oz is what I had. The two second place weight teams were 5lb 5oz.

Can’t remember the gentleman with the big fish, but it was 1lb 8oz, and two of us had 1lb 4oz fish.

Was great seeing all the kids involved. Mine wanted to have a girls day with her mom. Sure could’ve used her help!

Thanks for hosting and doing what you did. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I’d likely have saT at home today and otherwise not fished had it not been for this as an excuse to go. Glad I went. Caught a pile of fish. Great meeting everyone.

Weather was actually nice until weigh-in time. Rained light but steady for an hour or so, but the wind was calm, rain wasn't terrible. The ride back in was good. Glad we were off the water when we were though!

Hate I missed it. It helps when you set your alarm clock to make sure it says AM instead of PM! Needless to say it didn't go off and I didn't wake up until 7:15!!!

Apparently I can’t count. Cooler shot was at 9:30 when I started culling thinking I had 20. Final take pic. What I looked at most of the morning on the death finder.

Looks like that young man was having a great time. I love seeing pictures like that. Wish there were more posted!
