Default Mom and dad catching a few at Greenwood

Last two days my parents launched from their house and were fishing around moon landing. First day they both caught one catfish each fishing off bottom with worms about 20 25 feet of water. Second day neighbor told em crappie were hitting minnows off bottom at about same depth. Didn’t catch at 25 but after drifting to about 15 ft my dad caught this one and only nice crappie for the day.

By the way when filleting fish parents said she was full of eggs. So looks like it’s still gonna be a bit before spawn on lower end of greenwood. Name: IMG_0914.jpg

Good catchin’. Tell your folks to buy some red worms and follow their nose in a couple weeks. There is a big shell cracker bed in that cove. Produces some in the 1lb.+ range for me yearly.

Congrats to your folks. Glad they were able to get out and catch some fish.
