A Good Time
My sweet wife and I pulled jigs tipped with minnows in TawCaw creek today. Bite was slow but the fish were big. Pulled 1/16 oz jigs at .5-1.0 mph. Bite came at slower speeds! Managed to boat 5 nice slabs, biggest was,(Evelyn caught it of corse) 2lbs 8.4oz. We sure have a good time, I am a blessed fella.

Another fella was pulling jigs also and catching a lot of fish. He was using orange head with junebug bodies and no minnows. We used 3 different color Roadrunners with different color bodies and minnows. Darker colors seemed best. Didn’t pay attention to the water temperature, it was pretty stained but not too muddy. Depth was 8-18 feet.

My wife always out catches me, of course I'm baiting the hooks and removing the fish, finding the fish, doing all the work, that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it.
