    Default Lake Wylie (2/24/2021)

I fished for about 4-5 hours in Withers cove from the mouth of the creek all the way back to the fire station. I picked up a few crappie at the mouth and a a few halfway back and that’s it. Great size. Not great numbers though. Several perch and some big largemouth. Water 47 degree. Clarity actually very good considering the weather. I like Withers cove and I purposely fished anywhere above the south fork river because downstream from that is mud guaranteed. I’ll have a YouTube video up soon over at my channel

Great report! I've noticed that the crappie on the Hill are fewer but larger as well. And that largemouth looks like it's about to pop!

I put in at S. Point and the water does look good. Still muddy but still biting good. Thanks for the report.
