    Default Week at Clarks Hill and Russell in Janurary


    Plan on fishing a few days on each towards the middle of January, will stay at Bobby Browns so plan to fish near Broad River and will fish from railroad tracks to damn on Russell. Has anyone been catching any striper in these areas? thanks for information

    I would be jigging a spoon for striper. Look for bait on the bottom and drop a spoon.

    Alabama rigs under diving birds have caught a bunch of big stripers in January!

    We fished up Ga. Little River and caught some nice fish, most around 5 lbs and a few around 10 but nothing bigger than 10. We caught around 30 nice one to bring home. We had a good time, only rained on us one day and others were nice. Will be back in April. thanks for all the help
